Amanda Curtis is a Democratic member of the Montana House of Representatives, representing District 74. She was first elected to the chamber in 2016. Curtis was a special election candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the At-Large Congressional District of Montana. Curtis previously served in the Montana House of Representatives, representing District 76 from 2013 to 2015. Curtis ran as a Democratic candidate in the 2014 election for the U.S. Senate, representing Montana. She was chosen to replace John Walsh as the Democratic Senate nominee in United States Senate elections in Montana, 2014. She was defeated for the seat by Steve Daines (R) in the general election.
